User Story Acceptance Criteria: The Art of Satisficing and Bounded Rationality

How many times as a product owner you have heard the developers complining about the user stories not being exhaustive, how many times as a product owner you have faced the situation where you feel the delivered solution is not complete and when you ask the development team what happened? they reply, "we did not get a complete acceptance criteria".

This week one of my articles got published on Scrum Alliance site in which I opine that user stories are inherently vague and accepatnce criteria cannot be exhaustive because it is not cognitively and rationally possible to come up with a optimal user story. Check out the article  User Story Acceptance Criteria: The Art of Satisficing and Bounded Rationality and tell me what do you think.
